Ferrania was founded in Italy around 1923, and continue to produce photogrphic products today - most noteable the Solaris brand of colour film (the last source of 126 film).

Their 127 cameras include various models of the Ibis, and the Tanit. The original model of the Bilora Bella was also sold under the Ferrania brandname.

Here we have the Ferrania Tanit, manufactured in Italy around 1955, and named after the Goddess of Life and Death, Fecundity and the Sea.

The tanit features a single (unspecified) aperture and shutter speed (plus bulb), but does support scale focusing down to 5 feet. The viewfinder is somewhat small, even for half-frame (16 shots per roll) camera.
