Ilford are one of the most famous photographic companies, being founded in 1879. At least in the Uk, Ilford ARE black and white photography. Though now best know for their films and papers, in the past they put there name to a number of cameras in order to promote their film, rather like Kodak.
Though Ilford long ago discontinued production of 127 film, they left behind a nunumber of cameras, whose quality could be poltitly be described as variable. Other than the Ilford branding these have little in common, as they produced by a range of different manufacturers and simply rebadged as Ilford.
