Porst Hapomatic

Porst are a German camera distributor founded in Nuernberg in 1919. The Hapomatic was manufactured for them by Braun Cameras (of Nuernberg) in 1961, and is very similar to the Braun Paxina Electromatic 44. For its day, it's both technically advanced, and modern in style. It features auto exposure from a coupled sellenium meter and a hotshoe. Lever winding along with the body shape make this camera feel like a modern point and shoot.

Despite the hitech features and stylings, the hapomatic produces poor results. While the exposure system works well, the haponar 50mm lens (wide angle for a 4x4) is disapointing - producing images that are lacking in sharpness.
