For the original VPK format of eight pictures on 127, Welta's Gucki is of conventional construction with a drop baseboard and self-erecting front, which also automatically triggers the optical finder. Like its smaller brother, the film spools are also held in swing-out carriages, and this example is fitted with Compur shutter and Schneider Xenar 7cm/4.5 lens, which was the top option offered at the time.
